(H) RW12-12 (F) The outdoor high voltage AC drop fuse, often simply referred to as the 'fuse,' is expertly engineered for outdoor overhead distribution systems. It boasts a rated frequency of 50Hz and is designed to operate at a rated voltage of 10kV. This fuse serves as a crucial protective component for circuits and electrical equipment, safeguarding against overloads or short circuit faults in power systems. In normal operation, the fuse is tensioned and securely locked in series within the power line. In the event of a fault, the resulting fault current triggers the fuse to blow, unlocking the movable joint, causing the fuse tube to drop swiftly and effectively disconnect the circuit. This safety mechanism ensures reliable protection for the maintenance of the line and equipment. This advanced load type fuse is enhanced with elastic contacts and an arc extinguishing cover, making it ideal for opening and closing load currents within power systems.

The fuse adheres to rigorous technical standards, including GB / T 15166.3 - 2008, which covers high voltage AC fuses - Part 3: injection fuses, as well as DL / T 640 - 1997, which specifies the technical conditions for ordering and testing outdoor AC high voltage drop fuses and fuse links.
