GENERAL

GW9-24 series outdoor high-voltage AC single pole isolation switches (hereinafter referred to as "isolation switch") are outdoor high-voltage power distribution equipment with a rated voltage of 24kV and three-phase AC 50Hz, which are applicable to 20kV high-voltage transmission lines to cut off and close single-phase or three-phase circuits without load and voltage.

The rated current of the isolation switch is 200A, 400A, 600A, and 1000A.

The isolation switch is composed of a low-voltage, porcelain post insulator, a conductive part, and a mechanical part. The knife switch structure is adopted for opening and closing to cut off and close the electrical circuit. Each phase of the knife switch is composed of two conductive blades. Compression springs are installed on both sides of the blade. The contact pressure required for the knife switch can be obtained by adjusting the height of the spring. When the isolation switch is opened and closed, the insulating hook bar operating mechanism can be opened and closed. The disconnector has no self-locking device.

Isolation switches are generally suitable for transformers on three-phase line systems. The utility model has the advantages of simple structure, beautiful appearance, simple operation, and maintenance.
The isolation switch shall comply with the technical standards such as High Voltage AC Disconnectors and Earthing Switches (GB/T 1985-2004) and Technical Conditions for Ordering AC High Voltage isolation switches and Earthing Switches (DL/T 486-2000).

USAGE: ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
1. The altitude does not exceed 3000m.
2. The ambient air temperature: Maximum:+40ºC; Minimum:-30ºC, Paramos:-40ºC
3. The wind pressure does not exceed 700Pa. (corresponding to 34m/s wind speed).
4. Atmospheric relative humidity: Dailly average does not exceed 95%, Monthly average does not exceed 90%
5. The installation site of an ordinary type isolator should be kept away from gas, smoke chemical deposition,salt-spray fog, dust, and other explosive and corrosive matters that affect seriously the insulation and conduction capability of the isolator.
7. Pollution-proof type isolator is applied to severe filthy conduction areas; however, it shouldn't be any explosive matters and matters causing a fire.
