(H) RW12-12 (F) The outdoor high voltage AC drop fuse, affectionately referred to as the 'fuse', is designed specifically for outdoor overhead distribution systems, offering a rated frequency of 50Hz, and an impressive rated voltage of 10kV.This essential component acts as a safeguard for circuits or electrical equipment, stepping in to protect against overloads or short circuit faults within power systems. During standard operations, the fuse is connected in series within the power line, maintaining a taut and secure state with its movable joint locked in place. Should a line failure occur, the fault current will trigger the fuse to blow, releasing the movable joint and causing the fuse tube to swiftly drop, effectively breaking the circuit. This ensures robust safety protection, crucial for the maintenance and longevity of both lines and equipment. Furthermore, the load type fuse is enhanced with elastic contacts and an arc extinguishing cover, enabling it to adeptly handle the opening and closing of load currents within the power system.

This fuse adheres to rigorous technical standards, including GB / T 15166.3 - 2008, covering high voltage AC fuses - Part 3: injection fuses, as well as DL / T 640 - 1997, which details the technical conditions for ordering outdoor AC high voltage drop tested fuses and fuse links.
