(H) RW12-12 (F) The outdoor high voltage AC drop fuse, hereinafter referred to as 'fuse,' is meticulously designed for utilization within outdoor overhead distribution systems. It operates efficiently at a rated frequency of 50Hz and stands robust with a rated voltage of 10kV. Serving as a crucial protective element, this fuse steps in during scenarios of overload or short circuit faults within the power system. Under normal operations, the fuse is integrally connected in series along the power line, remaining in a state of tension with its movable joint securely locked. On encountering a line fault, the fault current triggers the fuse to blow, leading to the release of the movable joint, a swift drop of the fuse tube, and an immediate circuit cut-off. This sequence assures paramount safety protection for the maintenance of both line and equipment. The load type fuse further elevates its functionality by incorporating an elastic contact and an arc extinguishing cover, thus adeptly managing the opening and closing of load current within the power system.

The fuse adheres to stringent technical standards including GB / T 15166.3 - 2008, which pertains to high voltage AC fuses - Part 3: injection fuses, and DL / T 640 - 1997, which covers outdoor AC high voltage drop tested fuses and fuse links ordering technical conditions.
