(H) RW12-12 (F) The outdoor high voltage AC drop fuse, hereinafter referred to as the 'fuse,' is expertly designed for seamless integration into outdoor overhead distribution systems. It is perfect for environments demanding a rated frequency of 50Hz and a robust rated voltage of 10kV. This indispensable protective element safeguards circuits and electrical installations against the detrimental effects of overloads or short circuit faults within power systems. During normal operations, the fuse remains securely in series within the power line, maintaining a state of tension with its movable joint locked in place. Should a fault occur, the fault current will prompt the fuse to blow, releasing the movable joint and causing the fuse tube to drop swiftly, effectively interrupting the circuit. This action serves as a crucial safety mechanism, ensuring the protection and maintenance of lines and equipment. For enhanced functionality, the load type fuse is equipped with elastic contact and an arc extinguishing cover, which facilitates the opening and closing of load currents within the power system.

The fuse adheres to rigorous technical standards, including GB / T 15166.3 - 2008 for high voltage AC fuses - Part 3: injection fuses, DL / T 640 - 1997 which specifies ordering technical conditions for outdoor AC high voltage drop tested fuses and fuse links.
