The primary purpose of any cutout is to provide protection to the lines of your system and the various apparatus on those lines such as transformers and capacitor banks. Our cutouts deliver impeccable protection from low-level overloads that just melt the fuse link, intermediate faults, and very high faults, through maximum interrupt capacity.
In addition, these cutouts can also serve as sectionalizing devices. With the use of a portable load break tool, type C cutouts can function similarly to an overhead disconnect switch. A 300amp disconnect blade is also available.
