Our cutouts are designed to protect your system lines and various apparatus such as transformers and capacitor banks. They offer robust protection from low-level overloads that melt the fuse link, intermediate faults, and high faults through maximum interrupt capacity.
Additionally, these cutouts can serve as a sectionalizing device. Utilizing a portable load break tool, type C cutouts can function similarly to an overhead disconnect switch. A 300-amp disconnect blade is available for enhanced functionality.
Extensive interruption tests have been conducted at full system line-to-line voltage. For each voltage class, there are continuous current ratings of 100 amps, 200 amps, and 300 amps.
