(H) RW5-40.5 (F) Our outdoor high voltage AC drop fuse, henceforth simply referred to as the "fuse," is meticulously engineered for high performance in outdoor overhead distribution systems. With a rated frequency of 50Hz and a robust rated voltage of 10kV, this fuse excels as a critical protective component. It safeguards circuits and electrical equipment from potential damages due to overloads or short circuit faults within the power system. Under normal operation, the fuse seamlessly integrates in series within the power line, maintaining a tensioned state while keeping the movable joint securely locked. Upon a line failure, the fault current initiates the fuse operation, causing it to blow. Consequently, the movable joint disengages, allowing the fuse tube to swiftly disengage and effectively cut off the circuit. This action ensures safety protection, facilitating the maintenance of both line and equipment integrity. Enhancing the standard design, the load-type fuse incorporates advanced features such as an elastic contact and an arc extinguishing cover, empowering it to adeptly manage the opening and closing of load currents within the power system.

The fuse adheres to rigorous technical standards, including GB / T 15166.3 - 2008, which details the high voltage AC fuses - Part 3: injection fuses, and DL / T 640 - 1997, which outlines the ordering technical conditions for outdoor AC high voltage drop tested fuses and fuse links.
