(H) RW12-12 (F) This outdoor high voltage AC drop fuse, often referred to as 'fuse', is meticulously engineered for deployment in outdoor overhead distribution systems operating at a consistent frequency of 50Hz and a robust rated voltage of 10kV. It serves as a vital protective component for circuits or electrical equipment, especially during instances of overload or short circuit issues within power systems. During normal operations, the fuse is strategically connected in series along the power line, remaining in a tensioned state with the movable joint securely locked. In the event of a line failure, the fault current triggers the fuse to blow, releasing the movable joint, allowing the fuse tube to swiftly drop and effectively sever the circuit. This crucial action provides safety protection, facilitating the maintenance of lines and equipment. Enhanced with an elastic contact and arc extinguishing cover, the load type fuse is adept at managing the opening and closing of load currents within the power system, significantly elevating its functionality beyond that of the ordinary type.

This fuse is crafted to adhere to rigorous technical standards, including GB / T 15166.3 - 2008 which pertains to high voltage AC fuses - Part 3: injection fuses, as well as DL / T 640 - 1997 which specifies the technical conditions for ordering outdoor AC high voltage drop-tested fuses and fuse links.
