(H) RW12-12 (F) The outdoor high voltage AC drop fuse, hereinafter referred to as the 'fuse', is expertly designed for seamless integration into outdoor overhead distribution systems. This robust unit operates efficiently with a rated frequency of 50Hz, and supports a rated voltage of 10kV.Its primary function is to serve as a reliable protective element for circuits or electrical equipment during overload or short circuit conditions within the power system. Under standard operating conditions, the fuse is positioned in series along the power line, maintaining a tensioned state with a locked movable joint. Upon encountering a line fault, the fault current triggers the fuse to blow, releasing the movable joint, swiftly dropping the fuse tube, and effectively cutting off the circuit. This critical function ensures enhanced safety protection for line and equipment maintenance. The load type fuse is innovatively enhanced with elastic contacts and an arc extinguishing cover, superior to the ordinary type, to adeptly handle opening and closing of load currents within the power system.
