(H) RW12-12 (F) The outdoor high voltage AC drop fuse, hereinafter referred to as "fuse," is expertly designed for outdoor overhead distribution systems. It is ideally suited for applications with a rated frequency of 50Hz and an impressive rated voltage of 10kV. This fuse acts as a crucial protective component for circuits and electrical equipment, safeguarding against overload or short circuit faults within power systems. Under normal operation, the fuse is securely connected in series along the power line, maintaining a tensioned state while the movable joint remains firmly locked. Should a fault occur, the fault current induces the fuse to blow, promptly releasing the movable joint. This action causes the fuse tube to swiftly drop, effectively severing the circuit and providing essential safety protection for line and equipment maintenance. Enhanced with elastic contact and an arc extinguishing cover, the load type fuse goes beyond the standard version by offering superior capability in opening and closing load currents within power systems.

The fuse is meticulously crafted to adhere to rigorous technical standards including: GB / T 15166.3 - 2008, which pertains to high voltage AC fuses - Part 3: injection fuses, and DL / T 640 - 1997, providing technical conditions for outdoor AC high voltage drop tested fuses and fuse links ordering.
