(H) RW12-12 (F) outdoor high voltage AC drop fuse (hereinafter referred to as "fuse") is expertly designed for application in outdoor overhead distribution systems. It boasts a rated frequency of 50Hz and operates seamlessly at a rated voltage of 10kV. This remarkable fuse serves as a critical protective component, safeguarding circuits or electrical equipment from potential harm due to overloads or short circuit faults within power systems. In standard operating conditions, the fuse is strategically connected in series along the power line, ensuring it remains in a tensioned state with its movable joint securely locked. Upon encountering a line fault, the ensuing fault current triggers the fuse to blow, leading to the release of the movable joint. This action results in the rapid dropping of the fuse tube, effectively severing the circuit and providing vital safety protection crucial for the maintenance of both the line and associated equipment. Enhanced with elastic contact and an arc extinguishing cover, this advanced load type fuse is adept at opening and closing load currents within power systems, surpassing the capabilities of ordinary fuses.
