SPECIAL LIGHTNING ARRESTER
Drop type arrester is a special arrester that can be replaced freely under the condition of no power supply by using the working principle of drop type fuse. This product can greatly reduce the workload of maintaining the arrester and is widely used in hospitals, stations, airports, and other places with high requirements for power supply stability.
USAGE: ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
1. Ambient temperature: not higher than +40 ºC, not lower than - 40 ºC;
2. The altitude is not higher than 3000 m;
3. Rated frequency: 50Hz or 60Hz;
4. The voltage applied to the arrester for a long time shall not be higher than the continuous operation voltage of the arrester;
5. Maximum wind speed: 35m/s;
INSTALLATION AND OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Before installation and use, please check the tightness between the arrester element and the drop mechanism to ensure good contact and flexible loading and unloading.
2. The upper terminal of the drop mechanism shall be connected with a high-voltage wire, and the lower terminal must be reliably grounded. Do not reverse the connection.
3. Precautions before and after the lightning arrester is put into operation are the same as those for power distribution type lightning arrester.
4. When the arrester needs to be repaired or replaced, it can be easily operated by aligning the hook on the arrester unit with the insulating switch lever under the condition of no power supply, just like replacing the drop-type fuse tube.
