(H) RW12-12 (F) Our outdoor high voltage AC drop fuse, henceforth called 'fuse,' is expertly designed for application in outdoor overhead distribution systems. It boasts a robust build suitable for environments with a rated frequency of 50Hz and a rated voltage of 10kV. This exceptional fuse functions as a vital protective element for circuits or electrical equipment, safeguarding against overloads and short circuit faults within power systems. During normal operations, the fuse remains in a tensioned state, securely locked in series with the power line. In the event of line failure, the fault current causes the fuse to blow, triggering the release of the movable joint, and the rapid descent of the fuse tube. This action effectively cuts off the circuit, ensuring safety and protection for essential maintenance tasks on lines and equipment. Enhanced for reliability, the load type fuse features elastic contact and an arc extinguishing cover, which adeptly manage the opening and closing of load currents within the power system.
