Product Description

The primary purpose of any cutout is to safeguard the lines of your system and various apparatus on those lines, such as transformers and capacitor banks. Our cutouts ensure reliable protection from low-level overloads that merely melt the fuse link, intermediate faults, and very high faults, through maximum interrupt capacity.

Additionally, these cutouts can serve as sectionalizing devices. With a portable load break tool, type C cutouts can function similarly to an overhead disconnect switch. A 300amp disconnect blade is also available for this purpose.

Interruption tests have been conducted at full system line-to-line voltage. Each voltage class features continuous current ratings of 100 amps, 200 amps, and 300 amps.
