Product Description

 
(H) RW10-40.5 (F) This outdoor high voltage AC drop fuse, affectionately referred to simply as the "fuse," is expertly designed for use in outdoor overhead distribution systems. It is engineered to handle a rated frequency of 50Hz and a formidable rated voltage of 10kV. This robust fuse is indispensable as a protective element for circuits or electrical equipment, safeguarding them from potential overloads or short circuit failures in power systems. In normal operation, the fuse is securely connected in series along the power line, maintaining a tensioned state with a locked movable joint. Should a fault occur, the resulting fault current triggers the fuse to blow, releasing the movable joint. The fuse tube swiftly drops, effectively cutting off the circuit and providing essential safety protection for both line and equipment maintenance. Enhanced with an elastic contact and an arc extinguishing cover, this load-type fuse surpasses the capabilities of ordinary fuses, enabling it to safely open and close load currents within the power system.

The fuse adheres to stringent technical standards, including GB / T 15166.3 - 2008, which specifies high voltage AC fuses - Part 3: injection fuses, DL / T 640 - 1997, detailing the ordering technical conditions for outdoor AC high voltage drop tested fuses and fuse links.
