Product Description

The primary purpose of our cutouts is to safeguard your system lines and the various apparatus on those lines such as transformers and capacitor banks. Our cutouts provide robust protection from low-level overloads that gently melt the fuse link, intermediate faults, and very high faults, through maximum interrupt capacity.

In addition, these types of cutouts can also serve as sectionalizing devices. Using a portable load break tool, type C cutouts can operate much like an overhead disconnect switch. A 300amp disconnect blade is also available for this purpose.

Interruption tests have been conducted at full system line-to-line voltage. For each voltage class, there are continuous current ratings available in 100 amps, 200 amps, and 300 amps.
