Product Description

 

(H) RW12-12 (F) The outdoor high voltage AC drop fuse, herein referred to as the 'fuse,' is designed to be an essential component for outdoor overhead distribution systems. It operates seamlessly with a standard rated frequency of 50Hz and is perfectly suited for systems with a rated voltage of 10kV. This component serves as a reliable protective element for circuits or electrical equipment in the event of an overload or short circuit fault in a power system. During normal operations, the fuse is securely connected in series within the power line, maintaining its tensioned state with a locked movable joint. However, in the unfortunate occurrence of a line fault, the fault current prompts the fuse to blow. This action releases the movable joint, allowing the fuse tube to swiftly drop and consequently cut off the circuit. This critical function ensures safety and protection during the maintenance of both line and equipment. Enhancing the traditional design, the load type fuse is equipped with an elastic contact and an arc extinguishing cover, enabling it to efficiently open and close the load current within the power system.

The fuse is manufactured to meet rigorous technical standards, including GB / T 15166.3 - 2008, which outlines high voltage AC fuses - Part 3: injection fuses, as well as DL / T 640 - 1997, which details the ordering technical conditions for outdoor AC high voltage drop tested fuses and fuse links.
