GW5A-40,5 series outdoor high-voltage AC isolation switch (hereinafter referred to as "isolation switch") is a 50Hz outdoor high-voltage electrical equipment, used for switching high-voltage lines with voltage and without load, as well as for electrical isolation ofnigh-voltage busbars, circuit breakers, and other electrical eauipment that are under maintenance from live high-voltage ines. hcan also be used for breaking and closing very small capacitive and inductive currents.

The isolation switch complies with technical standards such as GB/T 1985-2014 "High voltage AC isolation switches and groundingswitches" and DL/T 488-2010 "Hiah voltage AC isolation switches and arounding switches"
