Product Description

Our Zero sequence current transformer is a device specifically used for measuring and protecting zero sequence current in power systems. It is mainly used to detect and measure the zero sequence current in the system to ensure the normal operation of the power system and provide necessary protection.

The working principle of zero sequence current transformer is based on the principle of magnetic flux balance. Under normal circumstances, due to the symmetry of the three-phase currents, their vector sum is zero, so no magnetic flux is generated in the iron core, and there is no current in the secondary coil. However, when a single-phase or two-phase grounding fault occurs in the power grid, the sum of the three-phase currents is no longer zero, and zero sequence magnetic flux appears in the iron core. This magnetic flux induces electromotive force in the secondary coil, thereby achieving measurement and protection of zero sequence current.
