(H) RW12-12 (F) The outdoor high voltage AC drop fuse, commonly referred to as the 'fuse', is meticulously engineered for optimal performance in outdoor overhead distribution systems. It operates within a rated frequency of 50Hz and a rated voltage of 10kV. This fuse serves as an essential protective component for electrical circuits and equipment, safeguarding them in the event of overloads or short circuit faults within power systems. Under normal conditions, the fuse remains securely connected in series within the power line, maintained in a tensioned state with its movable joint firmly locked. Upon a line failure, the fault current activates the fuse to blow, unlocking the movable joint, swiftly dropping the fuse tube, and effectively disconnecting the circuit. This crucial function ensures safety and facilitates the maintenance of lines and equipment. Additionally, the load type fuse is enhanced with an elastic contact and arc extinguishing cover, allowing it to adeptly open and close the load current within the power system.

The fuse conforms to rigorous technical standards, including GB / T 15166.3 - 2008, which covers high voltage AC fuses - Part 3: injection fuses, as well as DL / T 640 - 1997, which specifies the ordering technical conditions for outdoor AC high voltage drop tested fuses and fuse links.
